But how can we best identify each child’s strengths and weaknesses, and how can we use this knowledge to bring out the best in them?
At E-PLEX, we base our curricula and educational approach on the Multiple Intelligences Theory developed by Harvard educator Howard Gardner. The aptitude test that each child takes upon enrollment allows us to identify their interests and aptitudes, which we can further strengthen with a carefully selected list of recommended programs.
With this knowledge, teachers can also identify and apply analogies or examples that a student is can relate to that will help them better understand and remember the concepts being taught, even if the subject is one that they aren’t particularly interested in. In addition, we help support weaker intelligences, so that your child can be a well-rounded individual who is proficient in any field.
